I have never bought premade spools before. Ages ago, I did buy spools of wire but there were no such thing as premade claptons on a spool. I must say I love the band that holds the wire in and feeds it. beats using blue tape. anyway, I mostly do MTL so I gave this to a friend. but, of what I can see this tri-core is well made. very nice wire and spool.
