First off I have had my Zephyrus II since January or February, got it at a vape shop in Orlando after a VA appointment for myself and my daughter,(we are both disabled vets,my daughter broke her back in training getting ready to go to Iraq. Myself 100%, first Gulf War, I've seen and done way to much to comment on). Any way, saw this in a vape shop, talked to the kid who manages the store said this tank has some really great reviews, flavor, clouds are good as well. Lt me say to the kid in the vape shop thank you, this is one jam up great tank!
I have had absolutely NO issues with this phenomenal sub tank, no leaks....hear what I said....NO LEAKS! To Mr. Unknown, I don't know what you are doing/did to this tank, obviously you are doing/did something wrong. We are way to often willing to bash something after it doesn't do exactly what WE want it to do. Guess what sparky, this is a tank for the masses, if you want an RDA buy an RDA, don't buy a sub tank and expect it to work exactly like an RDA, there are some tanks that come damn close to an RDA, using the right coils I think the Zephyrus could be one of those tanks.
Since I bought this tank I have only used the standard Kanthal coils at 0.5 ohms they for the most part are really good coils, I've had like I said no issues with anything about this tank. It has a 6 ml capacity which was a huge selling point for me. Second the coils are interchangeable with either Zephyrus I or Zephyrus II another plus, top fill is above average, one thing to note though; if and when you fill this tank, you screw the top to open the top fill holes, after you fill the tank be damn sure you close the top. If you don't you WILL come back to an empty tank, you want to know HOW I know this? I was the dumb ass who forgot to close the top, I fill it then set it aside come back an hour or several hours later and the tank is empty....WTF....!! What...oh....shit....forgot to close the top....again. Oh yea, this hasn't been a one time affair for me, with the damage to my brain I have a problem with short term memory, most of the time I'm OK, however there are times when I just zone out and I'm mostly a bump on a log. Just sayin, after you fill this tank please close the top, this may be where a lot of the problems with leaking I hear about about this tank.
I just recently bought the version I of the Zephyrus, I like them both, the original holds 5 ml version II holds 6 ml. outside of a few cosmetic differences they are pretty much identical tanks. I have a LOT of sub tanks Kanger CLOCC, Protank 4, sub tank and sub tank mini, Atlantis ver.1 & 2, Herakles, Herakles plus,Melo 1, 2, & 3,Innokin iSub & iSub S, Sense Cyclone, SMOK VCT Pro, VCT Mega, TFV4, TFV4 mini & micro,(not overly enthused with any of the TFV4 tanks). Around 2 dozen different RDA's, so I do have a bit of knowledge when it comes to tanks, oh....forgot to mention I have half a dozen RTA's as well. If you want a vape that rivals an RDA, get a good RDA or RTA, RDTA, sub tanks are great they save time, I really like my Zephyrus tanks, they both give superb flavor, and phenomenal clouds, is it close to an RDA..mmmm....could be, I have some Ni200 coils on the way, I really am looking forward to trying these coils in either one of my Zephyrus tanks. Then this tank could rival n RDA in terms of flavor and clouds. Thank you all so very much for taking the time to read my review, it is greatly appreciated. Be well, stay safe, God bless, and....VAPE ON!
