    Great tank. Couple issues.

Posted by Jonathon Hayes on Apr 14, 2016

I have had this tank for about 3-5 months. NEVER had a problem with leaking until now. I have the Black version running on stock coils, and today I picked it up to vape and it sounded like the juice was boiling and out was spitting hard. I turned the tank and almost emptied all the juice out the airflow. I deep cleaned it and reset the O-ring, I hope that fixes it. Also, today after i filled it i put the top cap back on and it wouldn't tighten. I have turned both ways because yes, i know, it has reverse threads. I think the threads were stripped. I don't know why, but the to cap can now be pulled off with out unscrewing it. Great flavor And cloud production. Overall decent tank

    It's amazing... But...

Posted by Cameron tanner on Mar 01, 2016

I bought a silver one in a local vape shop, wanted black but I bought it anyways, I used it for a month and I loved it so much with no issues at all and I wanted a black one so bad so I ordered one here, when I got it I made sure everything was fine, o-rings and all and I noticed on the threads at the base where it screws into the tank some of the paint was missing and it made it feel like the threads were skipping, but I filled it up anyways.. After 20 min without vaping on it it leaked way over half of the tank' I was pissed and I heard from my vape shop before that one of the workers that the black one leaked so the first thing I did was change every single seal from the stainless one I have and it has been perfect ever since! Happy but annoyed and I've noticed that the .5 coils leak a bit I've had leaking a little bit in both of my tanks with the .5 and not a drop out of the .2 coils but in the end I still think it is the dripper killer

Great tank...I am always judging how other tanks vape by comparing to the triforce...none really come close that use coils...

Pay no attention some of this reviews, explanation...

Posted by Zach on Dec 06, 2015

First, I will say that it can leak time to time regardless of o-ring placement and how tight you have everything, this is especially noticeable when you put a fresh coil in, through my experience. This is the reason for it being a 4 star review.

Moving on, I'm an RTA/RDA person... I only try a subohm tank when I hear people I trust saying it truly has something unique to offer as a subohm tank, and with this tank, saying that is quite the understatement. Has it taken the place of my Crius tanks, Cthulhu V2, Bellus, or Billow V2? No.. but its been one of the best sub ohm tanks I've tried.

This thing has great flavor and airflow for days.. I never thought I'd run into a sub ohm tank that I told myself, "Ok, that is TOO MUCH air flow..." but it happened with this tank.

Moving on... to some of these reviews... I'm clueless..
    1. The coils only lasting a few days? I'm not sure what you're doing to these coils, but I am VERY hard on stock coils.. even when I properly prime and break in a Crown tank coil I'm lucky to get 3 days of use Max VG juice at 75 watts on the .25ohm.. The .2ohm coils for this last me a solid week and a half after proper prime and break in with me throwing 110 watts at it.
    2. Complaining about the .2 coils not firing on a 75 watt mod?? Do some reading and watch reviews, that coil will not start producing good tasting flavor and decent clouds until you're in the 85-90 watt range.
    3. Complaining about the RBA deck because you "don't vape kanthal or nickel" ...? First, if you don't vape kanthal or nickel, why did you buy a subohm tank that doesn't offer titanium, stainless steel, or whatever it is you do vape? And furthermore, why did you invest in a subohm tank and then pay additional money for an RBA base if you intended to built on the tank all along. Why didn't you just buy a true RTA?

This is coming from someone who typically hates subohm tanks. I'm just throwing that out there. I gave the Crown tank a chance, bought 2 in black and 2 packs of .25 coils, after 2 weeks gave both of them and remaining coils to a friend. TFV4, sorry Smok, its a big hoss of a tank, but its airflow doesn't compare, I hate the top airflow which is almost necessary, and I don't have the money to vape through 60ml a day. Soon to try the Herakles Plus, but haven't yet. This tank? I still have both and keep an extra box of coils with them just in the instance I don't have time to build on one of my tanks. For your coils to not be lasting, either you got in a bad batch of coils, which is entirely possible, or you didn't break these in well after priming them.

    So much clouds

The flavor and cloud production is ridiculous! Very close to RDA's

    leaky tank with flaws

Posted by Unknown on Nov 22, 2015

This tank is the pits. Keep your $$. Mind leak onthe first tank of juice. .2 coil didn't fire on any of my mod. Had to order.5coils to use on my sigelei 75. Could not use tank for a few day, waiting on chimney gaskets.
45$ piss away for Bs. When it not leaking, hits ok. There are many tanks out there that will serve you better. This is a LEMON. There are problem with the coils and gasket. Nice idea, Poor design

    RBA DECK

Posted by PRO VAPES on Nov 09, 2015

My contact pin and the bottom of the deck has a 1/16 inch gap. I can't get the two to touch. This is a lousy designs or I'm missing a part in there. I wish I could post a picture. Is this thing under warranty? I don't vape kanthal or ni200 so the stock coils are useless to me.

Decent RTA w/the upgrade kit if you build it right...

Posted by Kurt on Nov 02, 2015

Stock coils are crap in my opinion, both the kanthol and the NI 200 coils. The stock kanthol coil lasted about 2 days with max VG e liquid at 75 watts, and the NI 200 barely made it through a day at 70 watts 460° fahrenheit with a break in temperature set to only 400°... So in conclusion, the RTA upgrade kit is the way to go with this one as long as you know how to build it and more importantly, how to wick it! The stock coils are good out of the box but not much for stamina unfortunately.
