The Pontus is an original style dripping/tank atomizer designed by EHPRO. The top portion of the tank holds about 3.8ml of e-liquid and the driptip can be pressed down to conveniently drip your e-liquid into the bottom chamber through the 2 drip holes that are located on both sides above where your coils would be built. The base of the Pontus is a simple 3 post design similar to the TOBH RDA that can handle dual coils. The cyclops airholes are also adjustable for nice airflow control. This RDA works best with thicker (higher VG content) juice and you may experience a small amount of leakage down into the bottom chamber of your coils if you using thinner juice (higher PG content).

I was really excited to try this atty as I have always been satisfied with EHPro products, but alas I was quite disappointed with the performance. I have tried multiple builds from .2-1 ohm and without fail I always get gurgling in the chimney. My advice would be to save your money and wait for something better. Brock
I really wanted to like this
I've had the Pontus (with two drip holes, one fill hole) for a month and a half now. I've tried multiple builds and still end up with liquid in my mouth and my throat feeling raw. The first 2 puffs are great, after which I basically have to run a paper towel down the chimney to dry it out. I've tried at .5 up to 1.1 ohms, with 60% VG up to 90% VG, on my mechs and my eVic Supreme and still wet, harsh hits.
It's a great device in theory, but unless I'm just really building it wrong (28g wire, rayon wicks), in practice it's horrible. I would still love to have this working better as I do like the glass tank, the build deck is nice enough, and the dripping mechanism is great, but until I find a way to stop it from gurgling and killing my throat, it will continue to collect dust on my shelf.Joe
Riptrippers is crazy
So, before riptripper put out his review on the Pontus, I had already purchased mine. If you haven't already watced his review, he ripped this thing a new one (ha.) That being said, I've actually had a great experience thus far. Tried several single and dual coil builds, but the best I've found so far is a 26g sleeper-coil (dual coil with no breaks running through the post) build that comes in at .4 ohms (around 8 wraps on each side), firing between 18-24 watts (personal fave at 18). Good vapor production, minimal leakage (none if you don't oversaturate), and good flavor/vapor production. The only problem I really have with this RDA/tank combo are the post screws, which need tightening every so often (not much different than many other RDAs in that regard). Another minor annoyance is it's stock drip tip, which doesn't sit as snug as I'd like, but I fixed that with my own drip tip :D.
For the price, this is a GREAT buy. Good threading, a ton of extra o-rings, and a spare pyrex tank to boot.
TL:DR - Great for the price, worth getting if you're going out on the town. Kyle
Big Bang For The BUCK !
This RDTA has been getting bad press because of some reviewers personal feelings about it. I want to tell you this thing ROCKS. Don`t pay any attention to the negative bu**sh**. This is a real dripper minus the hassle of dripping. It is well worth the money and I have thoroughly enjoyed it. Do yourself a favor and pick one up.AMP
best of both worlds
Shipping was average, EHPro Pontus has turned out to be my go to tank. Build your own coils, fill with your favorite ejuice and vape away. Haven't had a single bad vape with this RDTA. The Only drawback I can find is the fill hole, it's kinda hard to get your bottle in there. Other than that, it is a solid device and would recommend it to anyone looking for something like this. It also comes with an extra pyrex tank. Very well done.Unknown
Amazing RDA, but needs practice
I just got this tank today and I am truly impressed. First of all, at the mechanics. You push the top in like a button and it drips onto your coils, this I thought was really cool, genius engineering. Second, the deck, posts and wells, they are enormous. The holes in the post look like they were drilled with a 1/16th drill bit, they are huge. The posts are very sturdy and the screws are phillips. The wells are like a lake, they are so deep its crazy, comparable to the magma's wells. The vapor and flavor produced with this RDA is also very impressive, not a monstrous cloud chucker, but VERY impressive. The overall build is sturdy and very sleek looking, but there are some cons. Like you would expect in a tank, when you put it onto your mod, its like a tower (very tall, long), but what do you expect from a tank, hardly a con. Next, the air holes looked poorly drilled, they still allow for good airflow, but they don't look the prettiest. Third, it gurgles. I am not sure whether it is the level of PG in my juice, or the fact that the juice holes that drip from the tank onto your deck are right by the air hole the pulls vapor to you. I got quite a but of juice in my mouth which did not impress me. BUT, I was inhaling on this thing hard to see how much vapor it could produce. This is a bad idea. Do not get this RDA to chuck clouds. When you inhale hard this also pulls juice from the tank onto the deck and makes for a sloppy mess. I adjusted the air hole to the sides of the posts and not only did it minimize gurgling it improved the vapor production. After vaping on this for a few hours I found a happy medium on how hard to inhale so that I do not get juice in my mouth, or any gurgling.
Overall this RDA is kick ass, I would have given it 5 stars, but from time to time it gurgles and gets juice in my mouth. It will definitely take some practice to perfect, but I am satisfied and very happy with this tank. I look forward to future versions of this tank.Alex
