This is the rock of tanks. I've had over 20 different types. They break, they leak, the glass shatters. I've been using this thing now for over a year... best tank I've ever had!!! Glass has never broken, it's been dropped at least 100 times. It's solid, easy to work with, never leaks! The best by far! So disappointed it's no longer made. Hope you guys come out with a v3! Geoff
Destroyer of fingers
Pretty nice vape once you get it all done up. But holy heck, it is super difficult to get apart! It blistered my right index finger just trying to unscrew the deck and tank bits.Unknown
Very nice deck. Easily fit Comp wire pre-built claptons in it. Only negative is the sleeve spins a bit too easy. Would be nice if it had a notch catch to stop it rotating. Otherwise it's a lovely little guy with a top hat. :DUnknown
It did what I needed very well
It is durable and attractive tank with a great build deck for dual coils. I picked it up while it was on sale for roughly half off and it has been performing well with a minor modification. The O-ring on bottom section where the Goliath stamped band connects to causes the deck become nearly impossible to take apart with creating a huge mess. Take that O ring off and it goes together very well. That prohibits motion of the juice flow control, but I was willing to overlook that for the benefit I got out of it.
Great and easy to build RBA deck, excellent airflow that does well tight for mouth to lung or wide open for full lung inhales. Can be top filled with the juice flow control working.
The O ring on bottom section causes the device to nearly seize up and become a nightmare to disassemble.
II got what I needed on sale, but definitely would not pay full MSRP as long as the O ring problem persists.Michael
Good not great
I would absolutely give this 2Rizzo
Best RTA to date
The tank is very nice. Mine had no machine oil, not a drop. The deck is about the same size as the Billow V2 deck, so, it's small but workable with some skill and patience.
In comparison to all my other tanks it has the most airflow, by a good margin. It is also the best wicking RTA I have seen yet, matched only by a Authentic Rose v2 with very open juice control. Less is more as always, but it is fairly flexible and forgiving with the amount of cotton because of how much juice is flows when the control is all the way open.
Using temp control, 2.5mm dual coil build titanium 1 7 wraps, come in at .15 ohms. Set at 50 watts the wattage never drops below 45 when taking a pull, even an extremely long one. On that build, I have juice control open about 1/4 of the way using 70vg30pg and it keeps up just fine. If I crank it to 70 watts, I just open juice control to 1/2 open and she keeps up great.
Take a few minutes to learn how all the different controls work, once you find your vape on the Goliath v2, it is fantastic.
If I lost/broke it, I would buy another asap.
I would recommend to friends.
PS: The only con I have for the tank is the edges of some of the metal parts are fairly sharp, care when disassembling and assembling. Oh, and lube the orings before use so nothing gets stuck!Rob
