    On the fence

Posted by Danny on Apr 06, 2017

I might be newer to vaping and building but I'm pretty sure I have the hang of it in my RDA's and other RTA's. I can not seem to wick this thing to save my life. I've tried different coil diameters different cotton different juice and it's been hit or miss. I can get it to not flood and get no dry hits but the flavor suffers it's actually driving me a bit mad because I loved the price point the size and the afc and juice flow control. Not giving up on it yet but if you want an absolutely no hassle RTA or your a master builder with mountains of experience you might want to take another look

I'm a flavor junky, Billow v2.5 is my fix.

Posted by Nathan C. on Feb 19, 2017

This journey started 4 years ago with disposable e-cigs. Got me and the wife through the first 30 days. Since then we have tried many different tanks, drippers and Mods. After the first time I wicked the Billow v2.5 and filled it up, I thought about all the time I had wasted with other tanks. This is by far the best flavor tank I've every tried. Wife was a hard core dripper, hasn't touched a dripper since she got her tank. Every feature of the Billow is spot on, the top fill, the juice flow and the build deck. If your a flavor chaser then this is the tank for you. Makes plenty of vapor as well. The only tip I have for you is use the troll doll method of wicking, if you do that then no leaks. Can't say enough good things about this tank. If your debating, just do it.

    Billow V 2.5

Posted by Russell on Jan 03, 2017

Ordered one for son in law, two for me. My first Billow was the V2. I use them (2) nearly everyday. I rotate kids and tanks with different flavors thru the day. I have a V3 and enjoy it. I got two V 2.5's since I like the others so well. And they are great, flavor is perfect. Running them on SS316L and SS 430 on DNS 75 devices. I recommend them highly

    Great flavor RTA

Posted by Ryan on Dec 22, 2016

Same great flavor and fluid capacity as the V2, but with a deck that's easier to build on, top fill, and simple juice flow control. The deck is smaller than some other RTAs - 2.5mm ID 24+34 gauge 5/6 wrap claptons fit fine, but you're not going to get a huge fused clapton build in here. Air flow is good for restricted lung hits, even wide open, so you're not going to be chucking huge clouds anyway. Wicking is pretty simple - wick your coils, pull them up through the deck cover and clip flush with the top, then tuck the ends down over the juice channels ("troll doll" wicking method). Great flavor, no leaks, no dry hits, no BS.

    Big tank with big flavor

Posted by Dantesinferno on Nov 25, 2016

No doubt this tank is massive. So you want a large mod for it or is just going to look strange. My only complaint is the build deck and chamber are tiny. I currently have 6 wraps of 2mm 34/26 clapton coils and they barely fit. You can squeeze 2.5mm in there but that's pushing it. You really have to watch that you're not shorting out from the coil hitting the sleeve. I've been wicking with the troll doll method and even with 70%+ vg juice it wicks just fine. I have had a few flooding accidents by opening up the juice flow control all the way. Flavor is great on the tank. Vapor production is average. I thought as big as the tank is that it would last me all day but it drinks juice pretty well so I'm going through 10ml+ of juice a day in this tank. Overall I like the looks and performance of this tank and definitely recommend it.

    Spiritual Successor to Billow 2

Posted by David M on Nov 11, 2016

This is a great flavor tank. I was a little worried that the deck would be too small to fit claptons, but fortunately that is not the case. I was able to fit 2.5mm claptons in there. It is a tight fit, but it's possible. What you need to understand is that the size of the chamber directly affects flavor. Smaller chambers generally mean more flavor. This is why the billow 2.5 is a great RTA. The chamber is perfect size and shape. This tank also holds a ton of juice which I am really happy about. Wicking is not that difficult. I find with this tank that less cotton is better. You don't want to stuff a lot of cotton in there like the griffin 25, because the juice channels are smaller. I find that the "troll doll" wicking technique works best in this tank. To anyone debating between the Griffin 25/25 Plus and the billow 2.5 -- They are both very good but fulfill a different purpose. The billow has better flavor/smaller deck, the griffin has better vapor production with a bigger deck. I have both tanks and use them both on a daily basis. For the price, you can't do better than the Billow 2.5. The machine quality is pretty good. Not as good as the griffin IMO, but it's still great for a sub $30 tank. I recommend this tank for sure.
